About Walk La Jolla

Walk La Jolla is a grassroots, community-led nonprofit dedicated to making our streets safer, more accessible, and more enjoyable for everyone. We believe walking should be the easiest and most delightful way to get around—whether you’re heading to school, shopping on Girard, or catching a sunset.

We advocate for people-first design: repairing sidewalks, adding safe crossings, calming traffic, and ensuring ADA access. We partner with neighbors, schools, businesses, and the City to deliver tangible, near-term wins.
